1. Acceptance of Terms
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using AuditLens ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not purchase or use the Software.
AuditLens is operated by Akshat Ratanpal, located in Mumbai, India ("we," "us," or "our").
2. License Grant
Upon valid purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AuditLens on your personal or business computers, subject to these Terms.
- The license is for a single user.
- You may install the Software on multiple devices that you personally own or control.
- The license is perpetual for the version purchased, subject to compliance with these Terms.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, or transfer the Software to any third party
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices, labels, or marks on the Software
- Use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Share your license key or login credentials with third parties
- Use automated tools to circumvent license restrictions
4. Payment and Pricing
Payment for AuditLens is processed through Lemon Squeezy, our authorized payment processor. By making a purchase, you also agree to Lemon Squeezy's terms of service.
- All prices are listed on our website and are subject to change without notice.
- Payment is due at the time of purchase.
- All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- We reserve the right to modify pricing for future purchases.
5. Refund Policy
Due to the digital nature of the Software, all sales are final and no refunds will be provided. By purchasing AuditLens, you acknowledge and agree that you are not entitled to a refund for any reason. Please review all product features and information on our website carefully before making a purchase.

6. Third-Party Services
6.1 AI API Providers
AuditLens integrates with third-party AI services including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google. Use of these services is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. You are responsible for:
- Obtaining and maintaining your own API keys from these providers
- Complying with the terms of service of your chosen AI provider
- Any costs incurred through your use of third-party AI APIs
- Ensuring your use of AI services complies with applicable laws and your organization's policies
6.2 No Warranty for Third-Party Services
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, reliability, or performance of any third-party AI service. Changes to third-party APIs, pricing, or terms of service are outside our control.
7. Data and Privacy
AuditLens is designed with a "Bring Your Own Key" architecture. Your screenshots, audit evidence, analysis results, and API keys are stored locally on your machine. We do not collect, store, or have access to your audit data. For more information, see our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for:
- The security of your locally stored data
- Compliance with data protection regulations applicable to your organization and jurisdiction
- Ensuring that your use of AI analysis on audit data complies with your organization's data handling policies
8. Intellectual Property
AuditLens, including its code, design, graphics, logo, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Akshat Ratanpal. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.
You retain full ownership of all screenshots, audit evidence, analysis results, and workpapers created using the Software.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Software will meet your specific requirements
- The Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for professional audit purposes without human review
- The Software will be compatible with all systems or configurations
Important: AI-generated analysis provided by the Software is intended as a tool to assist auditors. All AI analysis should be reviewed, validated, and approved by a qualified professional before being included in any official audit workpaper or report.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AKSHAT RATANPAL, AUDITLENS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use of or inability to use the Software
- Any errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated content
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any third-party conduct or content related to the Software
- Any loss of audit evidence or data
Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Software.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Akshat Ratanpal and AuditLens from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Software, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Software ceases immediately
- You must uninstall and destroy all copies of the Software
- Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination
13. Updates
We may release updates, patches, or new versions of the Software. Updates may be provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed. When provided, updates may modify features, functionality, or system requirements.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
